Hello all,
First and foremost, Coach Clements and I would like to thank you all for a wonderful season! We are looking forward to our end of the year celebration on June 1 in the commons from 5:30-7:30.
If all plan to attend with family members we are looking at a celebration that will be 125-150 people, therefore it is very important that we all do our share! In years past we have had items run out and not enough of certain things, when you are planning to attend/bring something please be sure to bring enough for 10-15 people.
Below is a breakdown of items by class, please text/email your team Coach by Saturday with the item you are bringing to ensure we have enough of everything.
Freshmen: Napkins, Silverware, Cups, Plates and/or a side
Sophomores: Side dishes
Juniors: main dishes
Seniors: desserts and drinks
Coach Cureton: 571-299-9151 or curetosm@patrioths.com
Coach Clements: 703-966-4981 or adamclements92@gmail.com
Thank you all very much for everything you have done for our team this season, we look forward to seeing you all Monday.

Hello all, I have obtained three dates on the grass this fall. As mentioned during the meeting last week attendance will be recorded and the only excuse for missing is that you play a Fall Sport at PHS.
October 6 2:20-3:30 on the grass
October 27 2:20-3:30 on the grass
November 3 2:20-3:30 on the grass.
Please bring your cleats, shin guards and appropriate dress as it may be chilly.
REMEMBER: YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CONCUSSION TRAINING COMPLETED AND PHYSICAL in order to be eligible, this is not an excuse for missing out of season conditioning, please be proactive and get these items completed, you have plenty of notice.
If you have any additional questions please email me at curetosm@pwcs.edu

At yesterdays meeting coach reviewed the following items:
Announcements: These will be made via group text/email and our website. Please understand, if YOU miss an announcement that is YOUR fault, no one else.
College Recommendations-email coach with your current GPA, Naviance link, any extracurricular activities etc. curetosm@pwcs.edu
Out of Season Conditioning: attendance is required and will be taken into consideration at tryouts in the spring.
Weight Room: Winter T-R 2:40-3:55--only excuse for not attending is if you are playing a PHS winter sport, otherwise CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULES for these days and times. Champions are made in the off season.
Goals-to beat our rival and confidently enter the playoffs. In order to do this we discussed commitment, dedication and conditioning as we approach the 2015 Spring season. We want to come in fit, both mentally and physically...
The 2015 season began the last day of the season last year. In order to be the best we need to prepare, train and compete with the best. I am excited for the upcoming year. Please check the website regularly and subscribe to notifications. I am attempting some Fall field sessions, where we can get out and knock the ball around...again if you are absent you must email coach and/or be playing a fall sport!
I thank you all for your continued dedication to the program, please understand I thoroughly believe in this team and KNOW we are capable of greatness this season.

Hello all, my apologies for not addressing the recent staff change sooner, my time has been monopolized by a recent professional development. First and foremost I want you all to know this change in role was not something I considered lightly. I decided to apply for the varsity position due to my passion for the program and the student-athletes within. As I enter this summer “break” please know I will be contacting local representatives for sponsorships, meeting with our athletic director to discuss out-of-season dates and building the next months in preparation for our upcoming season. I want you all to know the season is much larger than our three months “together” in the spring; it begins the last day of post-season-play and is an ongoing process. I am stressing the importance of commitment and ownership for the upcoming seasons, if you are not member of an “in-season” PHS sport, your attendance will be expected at out-of-season events if you plan on remaining a member of the PHS Boys Soccer program. I am excited to build-upon our already strong foundation and help take this program to the next level. This process will include all PHS Boys Soccer stakeholders, if at any point you (parent or athlete) have ideas regarding sponsorship, fundraising, or team-bonding skills please feel free to contact me at swilkin1@gmail.com or curetosm@pwcs.edu. I am here to facilitate student-athlete growth and development, your constant participation is extremely important in this journey. Thank you, as always, for all of your support and words of encouragement! I am looking forward to the 2014-15 school year; please check the website periodically as summer conditioning announcements will be made.
Sincerely, Coach Cureton!

Congratulations to Sarah Cureton for being named the head varsity boys soccer coach. Coach Cureton has spent the last two seasons as the Patriot boys JV head coach as well as a varsity assistant this past season. She also coached JV girls basketball in Patriot's inaugural year. Coach Cureton brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the varsity sideline. She was a member of George Mason University's Division I soccer team during her playing career. Prior to coming to Patriot she coached JV boys soccer at Woodbridge High School. Coach Cureton teaches in our Science Department and is excited to take over as the varsity coach. She plans to begin out of season workouts for the upcoming season, so please check the soccer webpage for more information.
