Athletes and families,
I hope you are all having a relaxing summer, soaking up all this time with your family and friends.
This school year marks Patriot High School’s 10 Year Anniversary. In honor of this occasion, the Boys Soccer, Track/Cross Country, and Field Hockey Teams are sponsoring a 5K/1.1 mile fun-run. This event will take place the morning of 9/11, the big celebration weekend, and we have named the event the Patriot Heroes Fun Run to additionally honor the victims of 9/11.
The flyer for the fun-run can be found here and I have included the sign up link below. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via email. The expectation is that the Boys Soccer team will work the event the morning of 9/11. Athletes, please share this link and flyer with as many friends/family members as possible-this will additionally serve as a fundraiser for our program.
Thank you all and enjoy the final weeks of your summer!

Team,
In the past, Gatorade has come and done a brief presentation for the athletes at Patriot. This year the presentation is virtual. Please watch the following link for "G Week" provided by our Gatorade partners. This participation allows for free samples and drinks to be provided to our athletes.
Thank you, Coaches

Congratulations to both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Patriot Soccer players on a fantastic season.
The PHS coaching staff would love for all players and families to join us Wednesday evening for an end of the year celebration in Commons 1 at Patriot High School. This ceremony allows the coaches to acknowledge and celebrate the extraordinary growth of our athletes during the 2021 spring soccer season. Due to Covid-protocol this event will be a "Bring Your Own Dinner" event, should families choose, but this is not required. Please bring/wear masks at all times if you are not seated with family.
Junior Varsity athletes and families please attend the ceremony from 5:30-6:30 in Commons 1.
Varsity athletes and families please attend the ceremony from 6:30-7:30 in Commons 1.
***All Athletes please bring any necessary inventory items for return.
We understand with summer break beginning there may be conflicts. Please send regrets to your head coach. The coaches are so grateful for the immense support from athletes and families this season, we look forward to celebrating your players and our successes as a program.

To the fantastic fans of the Patriot Boys Soccer program,
First and foremost, the coaching staff wants to thank you for your dedication in attendance this season, both home and away. We know the weather has not been favorable, your support has had a direct impact on the players and coaching staff, it is greatly appreciated.
Entering the second half of the season we would like to take the opportunity to highlight positive sportsmanship and verbal support from the stands. We understand the most recent contests have been intense and some calls not necessarily in our favor. How we react to these scenarios as coaches, players and fans can truly determine the outcome of a match. Please, when given the opportunity to be verbally negative or positive, choose positivity in support of your players and staff.
The PTHS soccer team has demonstrated extremely hard work, heart and passion until the final whistle of each match, let us focus collectively on supporting those factors as we move forward.
We look forward to continued growth and composure as a program and thank you greatly for your support and encouragement during this process.
Sincerely, the Coaching Staff

Patriot fans,
Be reminded that while at games, ALL spectators must wear a mask and be socially distanced at all times. This is not an option. There are "X's" on the bleachers at Patriot to designate where you can sit that ensures we are adhering to the social distance guidelines. Other schools should have similar markings at their fields. Families may sit with each other.
Keep in mind that the reason we can play and allow spectators is based off approved mitigation guidelines which states that spectators must be masked and socially distanced all times. This includes spectators who have been vaccinated. It would be a shame if our seasons get canceled or if we have to eliminate spectators due to not abiding by the guidelines above. This is true for both home and away events.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Due to COVID and social distancing protocols, the logistics have become too difficult to do the traditional spring fundraiser mulch sale.,
If a neighborhood group would like to utilize the following opportunity for group mulch sales, please see the following information and utilize the form.
Greenway Complete Land Maintenance LLC (GCLM), a local landscaping company, has graciously agreed to provide mulching services to the Patriot High School community. GCLM will simply donate 10% of sales to the Patriot Booster Club. Their pricing includes pickup, delivery, spreading and light trenching of the mulch bed!

Dear Patriot Pioneers Boys Soccer family,
We are moving into a dead period due to winter sports tryouts, this combined with winter break will lead us to delay additionally attempts at out-of-season conditioning until after the New Year.
Moving into December please prepare for a successful start to the new year by submitting all necessary physical and concussion information in addition to registering for a SWOL account (information to be found at the PDF linked below).
The coaching staff would like to thank the student-athletes who have successfully navigated this new system and for submitting necessary surveys on attempted training days, this does not go unnoticed.
If you are having issues with the new system please contact Coach Cureton at curetosm@pwcs.edu.
Updated information will be posted after the first of the year. We look forward to training together in a few short weeks, until then, we wish you a safe and healthy holiday season.

4.0 years ago @ 12:40PM
Good afternoon Patriot Boys Soccer family,
Today's conditioning has been canceled due to lack of completed requirements. Moving forward it is necessary that your physical and concussion paperwork has been submitted to PTHS and you are required to have a SWOL account (details in link below) and a completed Covid-19 survey by NOON the day of training. Unfortunately, these requirements were not met and conditioning will be canceled for today, November 4th.
Tomorrow, I will be running a SWOL "test-run" for the necessary Covid-19 survey. Please create the necessary SWOL account and complete the Covid-19 survey by noon tomorrow, as you would on a normal training day, for this test-run. I recommend creating your SWOL account today as it does require trainer approval and may take time to become active.
If you have additional questions please email me at curetosm@pwcs.edu
Thank you all and I look forward to seeing you at our next training session on November 18th.
