Patriot Athletics is excited to announce Rich Edwards as Head Wrestling Coach.

Coach Rich Edwards is originally from Charlotte, NC and led both high school and college wrestling teams as a co-captain. At Northern Highlands Regional HS in Allendale, NJ he was a member of the 1987 district championship team and finished as district runner up at 188 lbs. In college, he wrestled for McDaniel College (Division III) in Westminster, MD, at 190 lbs and HWT.    

For the past six years, Coach Edwards has served as an assistant coach for the Falls Church Force Wrestling club, where his son, William is a rising eight grader.  Rich lives in Arlington with his wife, Megan, and three kids, Lauren (14), Mia (13), and Will (13), and is on track to retire following a 30-year career with the Department of Defense as an Army Officer.
