The Patriot Pioneers defeated Osbourn Park 49-20 on a drizzly Friday night which was also happened to be the Yellow Jackets' Homecoming game. The game was highlighted by Gory Lucy's 80 yard interception return in the 3rd quarter which blew a close game to that point wide open. The Pioneers scored 21 unanswered points in less the 6 minutes in the third quarter. The defense was led by Lucy, Thomas Rigney, Timmy Keenan and Elijah Snow who all had exceptional games. Andrew Schifalacqua and T'Quan Diggs played well on the line. The offense saw the return of Jake Caparella to the line-up. Jake ran the ball 15 times for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns, while JB Thompson had 9 carries for 46 yards and a score. Cody Agnew was 15 for 23 for 228 yards and threw 3 touchdown passes, two to Nick Mathews (7 catches for 140 yards) and one to Robbie Owens, the first touchdown reception of his career. Jose Mendoza was 7 for 7 on extra points.
