Patriot lost their first game of the season 66-41 to Hylton. Patriot led the game late in the 2nd quarter 21-19 before Hylton scored twice in the last minute to go into halftime with a 31-21 lead. The Pioneers scored on their first drive of the third quarter to cut the lead to 31-28, but that was as close as it would get. Nick Mathews set a school record with 15 receptions for 156 yards and scored 3 touchdowns to highlight the Pioneer effort.
