GAR-FIELD HIGH: 14
Patriot won their first game of the season at Gar-Field 41-14. The defense played very well and were led by Brian Smith, Will Gillespie, Nick Ntiros and Josh de la Cruz. On the day the Pioneers intercepted one pass (de la Cruz and recovered 3 fumbles (JJ Johnson, Gillespie). Nick Ferrari-Smith scored 4 touchdowns, Nick Mathewes caught 2 touchdown passes and Jake Caparella scored on a two yard run. Cody Agnew threw 3 touchdown passes while completing 7 of 9 passes. Jamey Corcoran added 6 extra points.
