FOREST PARK HIGH: 17
Patriot lost their opening game 17-14 at Forest Park. The Pioneers spotted Forest Park a 17 point lead, before mounting a valiant 14 point comeback in the 4th quarter. Nick Ferrari-Smith ran for one touchdown and Quintin Reynolds caught a 26 yard touchdown pass from Scott Cushanick. jamey Corcoran kicked two extra points. The defense played valiently, led by Nick Ntiros and Jake Caparella. Unfortunately, Josh Carter was lost for the season with a leg injury.
