After a slow first half, the Lady Pioneers decided it was time to get to work ! The offense and the midfield took control of the game after the defense held off George Mason scoring drives in the first half.  Goalkeeper Moira Johnson made excellent clears and the defense of Trone, Lugent, Kerns, Gartrell and Huwert played calm and steady not allowing any scores.

The midfield lead by Lauren Chiles, Emily Johnson, Aubrie DiBendetto  and Sarah Goode, provided the forward line with many scoring opportunities by keeping the ball inside of the scoring circle.

Jennifer Williams came out strong the second half getting the ball up field and provided good passes from the middle. Outside forwards Maggie Hayes and Danielle Millard passed the ball inside setting up scoring.  Ashleigh DiBenedetto scored the first goal with an assist from Hayes and the second goal came from Lauren Chiles with the assist from Ashleigh DiBenedetto.  Neirmeier, Gregg and Campbell provided  good passes as well as  following through with plays forcing fouls keeping the ball in scoring territory.
