Patriot Athletics would like to introduce Juliet Violett as our head girls lacrosse coach.  Coach Violett, originally from Annapolis, Maryland played lacrosse for St. Mary's High School and was a member of the Women's Lacrosse and Cross Country  teams at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (Division I, Big South Conference).  Violett was considered to be a versatile player on midfield and defense. She earned Master's Degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Violett has served as a High School Counselor for 22 years and has enjoyed mentoring students as they become independent, responsible adults.  

Since moving to Gainesville in 2014,  Violett has been a member of the coaching staff for the Brigade and Galaxy Lacrosse programs. The transition to Patriot High School provides an opportunity for Violett to inspire players and to provide opportunities for players to explore their athletic goals.

All players interested in participating in training for the Girls lacrosse program must complete the following requirements

1) Current Physical dated after May 1 2019

2) Blue Emergency card

3) Concussion training (must be completed prior to Feb 2020)

Our concussion dates are: June 5 6:30, July 9 6:30, October 30 6:30, February 5 6:30

In order to be eligible to participate in off season training opportunities for the coming school year all players must complete the following.

1) A current physical dated after May 1, 2019. 

2) A blue emergency card on file 

BEFORE the regular season, all players must also complete the Concussion training

Patriot Concussion training dates are listed below. All meetings are in the auditorium. Returning students may complete the concussion training on-line.
