Patriot High School is pleased to announce Sean Finnerty as our Varsity Football coach. Coach Finnerty is joining us from Liberty High School in Bealeton, Virginia. While at Liberty, Coach Finnerty was selected as a Redskins Coach of the Year and an Evergreen District Coach of the Year. He led Liberty to three district championships, a state semi-final appearance, and has made the playoffs five out of seven seasons. Coach Finnerty is dedicated to the success of student athletes- both in the classroom and on the field. He plans on meeting with the football team on Tuesday, December 18 at 2:20 p.m. in room 1403 and will meet with the football families in early January 2019.

Equipment
Players must provide their own cleats, shorts, socks and t-shirts.
Cleats must be white, black, navy blue, red or silver.
Players should wear light colored t-shirts.
Players are expected to wash their practice equipment. NO BLEACH.
Do NOT put knee pads in the drier.
Lockers
Each player will be issued a locker and a lock.
The coaching staff will do everything in its power to secure the locker room. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. As a result, locks must be secured on each locker at all times to help limit the threat of theft. The best prevention is to leave all valuable items and money at home.

Patriot Football Fans,
Our spectators need to uphold the value of good sportsmanship at all times. Our fan behavior and comments are a reflection on our football program as a whole. We encourage and need our fans to portray positive enthusiasm at all of our contests. Our fans are an integral part of our team and any negativity is counteractive to our program's goals and have a negative impact on our student-athletes, coaching staff, and game officials. Let the coaches coach, the officials officiate, and the spectators be positive.
Go Pioneers!
