As we did in the fall, we have concessions requirements in the spring. Each swimmer is expected to participate. Our current spring assignment is 3/28, Tuesday. There are still slots that need to be filled. If you are not able to help on our assigned day, you may get your credit towards participation on another day. Boosters is always in need of help in concessions. Also - think WIN-WIN, do you have community service hours to do for another club? You may use your hours of support in concessions for more than one club/sport/activity. Remember to sign in and identify all activities you are there to support. To sign up, follow this link:
Another way to support our team is to help deliver mulch on Saturday, April 1. Trucks, trailers, drivers and student volunteers are needed to help deliver the mulch. Delivery times usually scheduled from 7:30 - 2:30 - more info to follow.

The rest of the teams, boys and girls, are encouraged to come to the meet on their specific day as well (they may ride the bus with us) to support and cheer on their team mates. Show your team spirit and unity by wearing spirit wear on your team's prelims day and dressing up on the other (for example: boys would wear spirit wear on Thursday and dress up on Friday).
Volunteer requirements are small: we need one timer for each night, more are allowed, as are volunteers for Clerk of Course and Marshalls. Please contact Coach Bussian if you are able to help out. Good Luck to our Region meet swimmers!

Conference Meet information (Friday, 1/27/17):
Teams may enter a max of four swimmers per individual event and one relay team per relay event. As in dual meets, individuals may be entered into a maximum of four events, no more than two of which can be individual events. Unlike dual meets, however, these meets do not have exhibition swims, do have meet heat sheets ($1.00), use touch pads and the scoreboard, have an entrance fee ($7.00) and have a special t-shirt to purchase (pre-orders only).
All swimmers are expected to attend the Conference Meet and support their team, even if they are not swimming. Approximately 18-20 swimmers per team will be entered into the meet in individual/relay events. Entries are due by Tuesday, 1/24. A list of swimmers entered will be posted on this website.
Each team also has additional responsibilities for this meet (different than timer, recorder or official). We also have a requirement to provide marshalls and host the Hospitality Room for the entire meet. The Hospitality Room provides food and drink for officials and coaches. In addition to staffing the location during the meet, there is a behind-the-scenes requirement as well. We will need someone/people to purchase and prepare the food we will be providing. Costs are covered by the conference. We still have positions to fill on our sign-up sheet. Volunteers will get a wristband to enter the meet free of charge.
Additional information is available in the meet announcement in the Files section.
Conference meet t-shirt --- pre-order only. To order, please do one of the following:

In order to improve staffing of concessions for PHS activities this year, the scheduling system was changed. Each team and/or club is assigned an activity and will need to staff it completely (including workers, 2 team managers (parents), grillers, etc). Teams are assigned activities during their off-seasons and will staff approximately 2-3 activities each off-season. Our off-seasons are fall and spring. Swim team concessions activities will be posted to our calendar.
During our fall off-season, we are assigned to work two football games: 9/2 - Friday the first week of school and 10/24 - Monday. Please follow the link below to sign up for the events. I will need two parent volunteers to be our concessions managers (if you'd like to volunteer and/or if you have questions on responsibilities, etc, please email me) for this year.
