2015 Golf Tryout Information

Any boy or girl interested in trying out for the Patriot Golf team this season (2015) must:

• have an updated physical
• have completed this years concussion requirement

August 3

• Noon - 1 pm     All interested players will meet at Patriot High School (commons 1)
• Players will fill out eligibility forms and we will make sure your physical and concussion requirements are fulfilled.
• Leave contact information Name, Email, Phone # with Coach Childress
• Around 2 pm on August 3 you will receive your designated tee time (check website)
• Tee times will be between 1 pm and 1:40 pm for new players at Prince William Golf Course on August 4. If you choose to warm up before your tee time, you can PURCHASE range balls from the course. The tryout on day 1 will consist of 9 holes of golf (players must walk)
• Tee times will be between 2:45 pm and 3:30 pm for returning players. You will begin on hole 10 as the 1st group comes through. If you choose to warm up before your tee time, you can PURCHASE  range balls from the course.
• August 5 - Tee times will switch. If you were in the 1st group on day 1 you will be in the 2nd group on day 2. 
• Evaluations will conclude on August 5. Players will be informed of their status with the 2015 Patriot Golf team at the end of their round on August 5.
• Our first Tournament is August 6. 5 players will be chosen to compete in the Patriot Invitational.
• This years team will consist of 12 Co-ed Varsity players
• All members of the team are required to purchase this years team Jersey
• All members of the team are required to sell a minimum of 5 patriot cards
