Tryout Dates are as follows:

• Feb 20 - Grass 2:30 - 4:30
• Feb 21 - Stadium 2:30 - 4:30
• Feb 22 - Stadium 2:30 - 4:30 (First Cuts)
• Feb  23 - Stadium 2:30 - 4:30 (Final Cuts)

If you did not receive a tryout number at last Tuesday's meeting, please prepare to visit Ms. Nichols classroom (2100) after school on Tuesday prior to the first tryout to receive a number. 

The below list is eligible to receive their tryout numbers at the meeting on 2/13 as of 12:00 pm on 2/12.

Reminder***

Tomorrow the Second Interest meeting will be held in Coach Cureton's room 2101 after school. 2:20 until all tryout numbers are issued. Numbers will be issued upon arrival (come early and leave when you receive your tryout number).

At the end of the day today, a list of all student ID's eligible for tryouts will be posted on the website. Students eligible can come to receive their tryout number tomorrow after school, this will prevent you from arriving to tryouts late on Tuesday 2/20. 

To be eligible a student must have a submitted physical,concussion form and completed eligibility form by the PHS athletic department.

Tryout numbers will NOT be issued after tomorrow's meeting until the first day of tryouts. Please plan accordingly to ensure you are able to arrive to tryouts on time.

The next meeting (Feb 13^th) tryout numbers and pins will be issued.

If you are not prepared to receive a tryout number on Feb 13^th or you lose the one issued, you will be required obtain a tryout number after school on the first day of tryouts. This will lead to attendance delays and will be indicated on the tryout rubric evaluation. Please plan accordingly to ensure you maximize your time at tryouts.

Out of Season session is canceled today 1/23 due to field conditions. Next Wednesday, Jan 31st is the last scheduled session for out of season workouts.

There will be two interest meetings announced if you are interested in trying out for the team, attendance to BOTH is mandatory. The first meeting will be Wednesday, February 7th and the second meeting will be Tuesday, February 13th. Both meetings will occur in Coach Cureton's classroom - 2101.

Welcome back to the 2023-24 school year PHS Soccer Players! We are excited to start out of season workouts in the beginning of October. In order to be eligible for out-of-season activities please be sure your soccer player has a current physical (dated after May 1, 2023) on file with PHS. The coaches will post all out of season dates and information to this website, be sure to subscribe to get the most up to date notifications and schedule announcements.

As a reminder, all parents are required to work two home soccer games of the opposite team (Ex: Varsity parents work the JV game and vice versa). Spring Concessions Sign-Up 

PHS Boys Soccer Tryouts: 2:30 – 4:30 PM Daily

Tryouts will begin promptly at 2:30 pm each day. If you are unable to begin on time, this will be reflected on the rubric score for attendance (Tryout Rubric Can Be Found Here).

Please bring the following to each session:

• Shin Guards
• Ball
• Water
• ALL 3: Light/Dark/Red shirt options
• Appropriate weather gear

At 9:45 am on Thursday, Feb 16, the following student-athletes have completed the required eligibility requirements and are eligible to tryout Tuesday. If your Student ID number is not listed here, you have not met the requirements to tryout. Please check your email for rejected forms and be proactive in completing the requirements posted in the previous announcements. If your arrival is delayed on Tuesday because you have failed to meet these requirements, you will not be eligible for the first day of tryouts - no exceptions.

All eligibility forms must be submitted by Wednesday, Feb 15th to ensure requirements are met by the first day of tryouts (Feb 21st). If a student fails to meet the requirements by the start of tryouts on Feb 21st they will forfeit attendance for the first day of tryouts and their score will default to a "0".
