Workouts will be from 2:00-3:15 on Mondays and Thursdays after school! We will meet in the hall between the annex gym and weight room. Come prepared for conditioning, weight-lifting, and possible outdoor stick training. This means you need sneakers, cleats, appropriate outdoor attire, indoor attire, shin guards, mouth guards, and sticks. If you are new to the sport, don’t worry, we have extra equipment.
If you cannot attend after school workouts and are not currently involved in another sport, please use the “Footwork & Agility” and “Alternative Strength Training” documents located in the "Files" section of the website to exercise outside of school! The footwork and agility drills may also be done with a stick and ball to improve stick skills! There are many options and exercises in each of these documents, so choose a few to complete each day. If you have any questions about exercises, please contact Coach Balsano.

Hi Girls!
Our Community Service project is quickly approaching! With the help of one of our awesome families, The Holroyd's, we will be sponsoring a 5k run/walk to benefit The Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team and their Kids Camp. This is a fantastic way for us to give back to our community, and support those who risk their lives to protect our country.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 23. Girls will be expected to arrive at 11:00 am and will finish at 3:00 pm. Community Service is a mandatory part of this team, and Coach B and I expect to see all of your lovely faces! If you are interest in running in the 5K or any family members would like to run, please let us know.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Coach B or myself. Thank you very much!

The Patriot Athletic Department would like to welcome new head field hockey coach Emily Ritonia and assistant field hockey coach Jessica Balsano to the coaching staff. Coach Ritonia brings a wealth of field hockey knowledge and game experience to Patriot. Emily is a local product and played prep field hockey and lacrosse at Middleburg Academy, formerly Notre Dame Academy. She was All-Conference and All-Met in field hockey during that time. She graduated from Virginia Tech and also received her Master's Degree in Secondary Education from St. John's University. She was the head girls’ lacrosse coach at James Madison High School in New York this past season. She will be a member of the Language Arts Department at Patriot as well as an assistant girls' lacrosse coach. Coach Ritonia will be moving to the area this summer and is excited to start working with the student-athletes at Patriot. Coach Ritonia will also be joined by Jessica Balsano from Bridgewater College where she played varsity field hockey and also coached JV softball at Spotswood High School during her student teaching. Coach Balsano will also teach in the Language Arts Department at Patriot next year. We are extremely happy to have Coach Ritonia and Coach Balsano join the coaching staff at Patriot.
We plan to have an interest meeting with Coach Ritonia on June 27th 9:00am at Patriot. Please check back for more details about the interest meeting and summer workouts.
