The October 2012 Preseason basketball schedule has been posted under team files for your convenience. Please note that Practice days are on Tuesdays after school and conditioning will continue every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Raise the Bar Strength and Conditioning facility.

TRYOUTS INFO:

DATES: Monday November 5th-Wednesday November 7th (tryouts are subject to possible extention through Thursday or Friday)

Note**We do not have school on the 5th or the 6th due to teacher work day and election day.We WILL STILL hold tryouts on both of those days . Please organize rides to the gym. Times for tryouts are TBD.

All girls planning on trying out must have a Current physical (May 1, 2012 or after), must have completed the concussion training online, and have a blue emergency card on file before the first day of tryouts.

Monday Jan 30th: Practice V 5:30-7:30 JV 5:30-7

Tuesday Jan 31st: Game day JV Home vs. Stonewall @ 6:00 pm Varsity Away vs. Stonewall @ 6:00 pm

Wednesday Feb 1st: Practice V 2:45-5:00 pm JV 2:45-4:15 pm

Thursday Feb 2nd: Practice V 5:30-7:30 pm JV 5:30-7:00 pm

Friday Feb 3rd: Game Day JV Home vs. Battefield @ 6:00 pm Varsity Home vs. Battlefield @ 7:30 pm

What: Athletic Scholarship/Recruiting Seminar

Where: Patriot HS Auditorium

When: Tuesday November 29th @ 7:30 pm

**Any student athlete interested in getting a athletic scholarship of any kind should attend this very informative meeting

WHEN: Saturday November 12th

TIME: 10:15 AM Immediatly following Varsity practice

WHERE: COMMONS AREA

WHAT: Patriot Girls Basketball staff will discuss the monthly schedule, team expectations, and other important topics pertaining to the season.

Note** If a parent/guardian can not be present you must schedule a meeting with either Coach Olinger or Coach Cureton prior to the first scrimmage. If we have not met with the parent/guardian of a player that player may not participate in the first scrimmage on Thursday Nov. 17th.

All rising 9th graders and form JV and Varsity players are encourage to attend team camp with us this summer. All forms and information can be found under Varsity girls basketball team files.
